No one present for respondent. 2. The petitioner CREDA submitted that as per the report of the Chief Electrical Inspector, the respondent No.1 i.e. Ms Indsil Energy and Electrochemical Limited did not consume any power during the year 2018-19 and, therefore, does not fall under the regime of RPO regulatory frame work. This is corroborated from the letter of the respondent stating closure of the plant since 25.09.2017. 3. We have gone through the records. Since the plant was not in operation since 25.09.2017 the question of purchase of power by respondent to meet its RPO does not arise. We find it rather strange that CREDA has filed a petition before this Commission without any basis. It was the duty of the CREDA to have verified the factual position before filing the petition and not wasted the Commission’s time and energy. 4 The petition is accordingly dismissed. |
