In a recent development, the Honble APTEL pronounced judgment on dated 09/11/2021 in appeal nos. 113, 117, 118, 123, 137 and 138 of 2020 and set aside the order dated 17/06/2020 of Central Electricity Regulatory Commission revising the floor and forbearance price of solar and non-solar RECs at Rs. 0/MWh and Rs. 1000/MWh respectively. 3. After passing this order the obligated entities may purchase RECs from market and fulfill their RPO. The respondent is directed to purchase RECs for fulfillment of their RPO backlog by 25th February 2022 and intimate to CREDA (Nodal Agency). 4. The case is disposed off accordingly. |
